Spending most of her formative years in New England, a career change for her father moved Mandy and her family to Texas days before her tenth birthday. Luckily, her musical household moved along with her… Mandy’s mother spent her early twenties in New York City, singing and dancing in off-Broadway shows, and guest-starring on local TV variety shows. Her older brothers are also gifted musicians – proof of the musical genes that go back several generations in Mandy’s family. Songs from Broadway cast albums and dinner parties that inevitably ended up around the piano were constants in Mandy’s house as far back as she can remember. It was this exposure that encouraged her to take her own musical journey.

After starting her professional singing career at the age of 16 at Six Flags Over Texas, Mandy moved on to local musical productions, jingles and singing demos for recording classes at New York University. Back in Dallas, her first venture was as back-up singer with an original band. In 1993, she was featured on The Nashville Network's "Be A Star".

Mandy is now lead singer for The Roof Raisers, one of Dallas' top variety bands. When not singing with The Roof Raisers, Mandy continues to record jingles and radio IDs for clients around the globe. Her better-known work has been for KABC in Los Angeles, WABC in New York, and as one of the group singers for "Kasey Kasem’s American Top 40" syndicated radio show.
